🥘Restaurant & Merchant Obligations
1. Food Quality & Safety (FSSAI)
The Restaurant Partner is solely responsible for the quality, hygiene, quantity, and safety of the food products. You must strictly comply with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. FeastyBox is not liable for any health issues, food poisoning, or foreign objects found in food.
2. Accurate Listing
You agree to provide true and accurate information regarding menu items, prices, and availability. Misleading descriptions or using images that do not represent the actual product is a violation of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
3. Packaging & Handover
It is your responsibility to ensure spill-proof and hygienic packaging. The liability for any damage due to poor packaging lies with the Restaurant. You must hand over the order to the Delivery Partner within the agreed preparation time.
4. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify FeastyBox against any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your violation of laws, including but not limited to FSSAI violations, expired licenses, or customer disputes regarding food quality.
5. GST & Tax Compliance
If your annual turnover exceeds ₹20 lakhs (₹10 lakhs for special category states), you must register under GST Act, 2017. You are responsible for filing returns and paying applicable taxes. FeastyBox will issue TCS certificates as per Section 194-O of the Income Tax Act where applicable.
6. Data Privacy
You agree to handle customer data (name, address, phone) with confidentiality and use it solely for order fulfillment. Misuse of customer data is punishable under Section 72 of the IT Act, 2000.
